Chai Meitarim (18 Strings)

Chai Meitarim (18 Strings) is an original project by Omri Porat, Yehonatan Alloro Levy and Omri Bar Giora. Three guitarists and high-school mates, each with his own personal voice and a unique and rich style of playing. Their collaboration is one of genres from all across the globe - from the middle east to Spain, from India to New-York - a collaboration exploring and indeed challenging the very limits of the iconic and beloved instrument, and its roles within all of the rich musical traditions the three explored in their individual and shared journeys, creating a new and fresh sound. Their performance is immersive, moving and surprising - a story of three friends, three guitars - Chai Meitrarim.
